PROJECT DESIGNER

Do you love designing fun and trendy paper craft projects for cutting machines like Cricut, Silhouette and Brother Scan n Cut? 

Then we want to talk! 

CraftyCatSVG is a growing craft company looking for a rockstar designer to help us take our brand to the next level. 

We currently specialize in layered paper shadow box designs, but are willing to consider other types of papercraft projects for cutting machines like Cricut, Silhouette and Brother Scan n Cut.

If you have a solid portfolio of original papercraft designs, we’d love to see what you’ve got! (NOTE: all designs must be original - absolutely no copycat designs or copyrighted material will be considered)

This is a project-based contract position. However, we hope to find someone who can design collections for us on an on-going basis. 

PROJECT FEE: Negotiable based on experience.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with the CraftyCatSVG team to plan and design a cohesive collection of projects based on customer data and trend research. 

Bonus Skills: If you are a skilled content creator and can provide photo and video tutorials for your projects, we can discuss an additional project fee for this type of work.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience designing fun, easy, on trend paper craft projects for Cricut, Silhouette, Brother Scan n Cut machines.
• Tech Savvy - can convert designs into various file formats for different machines.
• Exceptional communication skills.

Preferred but not required

• Experience photographing or filming project content and or tutorials.

 

WHO ARE WE?

At CraftyCatSVG, we design fun and simple layered SVG papercraft projects for crafters of all levels to make gifts or home decor or to sell at craft fairs or in their online shops. Our customers use our digital files with paper cutting machines such as Cricut, Silhouette and Brother Scan n Cut while some use laser cutting machines such as XTool or Glowforge.
