In order to use our files, you need to load them into your cutting machine's software - your computer cannot read them on it's own.

 

When you first download our files, they are in .zip format and you will need to unzip or extract the file before you can use them. You don't need any special software to do this.

 

If you are on a PC, you will right-click the downloaded file and select "Extract" or "Extract All" and if you are on a Mac, you will double slick on the file and it will automatically unzip.

After unzipping the file, you will have a folder that contains the different designs. Inside each folder will be 3 different file types.

 

You will choose the file that works with your machine. Most machines such as Cricut, use the SVG file which will start with "SVG" in the file name and end with .svg . Even though some computers call them "Microsoft Edge" or "Chrome" files they are still SVG files.

 

If you are using a Silhouette machine, you will use the .studio3 files (begins with "SS") and if you are using a laser that uses the Lightburn software you will use the .lbrn2 files (beginning with LB).

 

You will open your machine's software and usually click a button that says "upload" and then select the correct file type from the list.

Common Errors and How to Fix Them

I Don't See an SVG File.

Some computers call the SVG file an HTML file or a "Microsoft Edge" file or a "Chrome" file, but these are still SVG files. Look for the file that starts with “SVG” in the name and ends with .svg.

Microsoft "Path Too Long" error

A small number of Windows users receive ERROR CODE 0x80010135 when they try to extract the files. 

 

If this happens, try re-downloading the .zip file and extracting the file using these instructions:

  1. Go to whatever folder includes the ZIP file you can't extract in Explorer.
  2. Right-click on the ZIP and select the context menu's Extract All option.
  3. Click Browse within the Extract Compressed window.
  4. Then click on the C: drive and press the Select Folder button. The extraction path should be just C:\ *THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP
  5. Click Extract to unzip the archive to the root directory.

My account says I have no downloads

This is almost always because the order was accidentally placed under a different email address. If you purchased with a third party app like PayPal, Apple Pay, or Shop Pay, the order will be under the email address associated with that account. Please try to log in with a different email address to see if you can locate your files.

How will I get my files?

There are 3 ways to get your files:

Immediately after purchase, a download link will appear on the purchase confirmation page.

You will also receive an email with a download link immediately after purchase.

Your files will also be stored in your account on our website. You can log in at any time to download them.

What if I can't find my files?

If you log into our website and do not see your files under "My Downloads", it's most likely because there was either a misspelling in the email address during purchase, or the order is under a different email address. 

 

If you purchased with a third party payment account (PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, etc.) your files will be under the email address associated with that account. 

 

If you need help locating your order, you can always contact us and we will find it for you and update the email address on file if necessary.

What files are included?

Every design comes with 3 file types. You will choose the one that works with your machine.

.svg (most machines will use this file)

.studio3 (for Silhouette machines)

.lbrn2 (for the Lightburn laser software)

What supplies will I need?

Material to cut (card stock, wood, or acrylic)

A frame to display your creation

Foam spacers for card stock projects 

Glue (for gluing your layers together)

Acid free tape (to secure your photos in picture frame designs)

Paint or stain for wood projects.

Can I sell my finished projects?

Yes (with rules)! 

 

We love supporting small businesses, that’s why each design includes a limited commercial license to sell up to 100 physical products made by you. We also offer an extended license for customers who need it.

 

You may not sell the digital files or print on demand products.

What is a Layered SVG File?

A layered SVG is an SVG file that, once loaded into your cutting machine such as a Cricut Maker or Silhouette Cameo or laser cutting machine, will cut each layer in the file on a separate piece of material.

What size are these designs?

Each design is sized to 8"x8" but can be infinitely resized. Keep in mind that the maximum cut size is determined by your machine and mat size. Take care when sizing down as small details may be lost or cut poorly.

How do I use these files?

Each design comes with an easy-to-follow PDF instruction manual and links to our growing library of video tutorials.

Can I use these files with Cricut®, Silhouette® or Brother ScanNCut®?

Yes, our files work with all of the above. Each design includes an SVG for Cricut® and ScanNCut® as well as .studio3 file which works with Silhouette® Studio.

Will these work with my laser machine?

Probably! Our files are layered SVG files and work most modern laser machines. We have successfully tested our files on Glowforge®, xTool® and WeCreat® lasers and any laser that uses Lightburn or CorelDraw.
